Julita Elbe

Julita Elbe lives in Münster, in the northwest of Germany, and grew up in Warsaw. After studying design, she started to work as a freelance designer and at the same time worked on her own artistic projects.

Julita is inspired by nature and architecture, their organic shapes, lines and patterns, the discreet colors and structures of their materials.

She likes to use different paper textures, such as tissue paper or handmade cotton paper, and combines them with acrylic paints to create collages, both paper and digital. Her own photographs form the basis of this creative process.

She tries to free certain architectural or natural elements or motifs from their context and give them a new aesthetic expression of their own.
