Inspired by natural, botanical and abstract elements, Emilie gently and harmoniously assembles primitive forms to recreate interior landscapes vibrant with emotion.
Cut out shapes and then compose endless pieces that we put together to see different possibilities evolve.
Each shape is cut from card stock and kept in a box.
With each new artwork, shapes are spread out on paper and then the creation begins.
Once done, a pencil goes around shapes of the cardboard then put back in their box for the next eventuality.
The last step is coloring with acrylic or Chinese ink.
